Trawler 420 PASSAGEMAKER
The Trawler 420 is Bruce Roberts "advanced design" of the time proven TY 40/42. There are more than 500
of the TY 40/42 built world wide and boasting a solid track record. The new Trawler 420 will
surpass the older design in performance and expectations. A more robust design than its prototype
and capable of unlimited offshore passage.
Our 420 is the first of this design to be built.

Here is a picture of the Trawler 420 under construction and is available for delivery in
short order. The completed hull with epoxy coatings and paint sells for approx
$200K CDN funds. This would include windows, doors, hatches, hand rails, engine
bed, stern tube, propellor shaft and bow thruster.

Powered by a 150hp diesel to cruise at 8 knots with a range well in excess of 1000 nautical
Equipped with a hydraulic bow thruster to assist with
movements in tight spaces.
More space on the aft deck than the TY 40/42 design. Room for a couple of chairs and small table.
Transom door to allow boarding via the swim platform.
Fly bridge built of aluminum with optional second helm.
Radar arch made of 4" SS pipe to carry navigation equipment and lights.
Active fin stabilizer system is optional.
Interior with more headroom than the 40/42 and larger windows.
Built to sleep six, two in the forward V berth, two in the aft stateroom and two in the salon.
Double sink and refrigerator in the galley.
Custom interior finish to a very luxurious standard in a choice of teak, cherry or mahogany.
Recessed opening portlights and an overhead deck hatch
made from polished SS.
Hause pipes and scuppers will be lined with polished SS.
Bollards on deck will be polished SS.
Handrail to surround the deck, welded to the hull and made of 1 1/4 inch polished stainless steel.
An attractive detail on a boat with a dark hull.
With the suggested equipment list, finished to a high end interior and your involvement in custom
selection and specification, it would sell for approx $450K CDN funds.
